In Rem Solutions believes good business and good corporate citizenship go together–that our firm must reach beyond office walls to understand and embrace charitable, educational and other nonprofit organizations working to meet the needs of communities where we work and live.
Leadership
Leadership by example is a key aspect of the community service programs. In Rem Solutions has served In The Pines, Inc. with volunteer grant–writing services since the company's inception in 1994. In The Pines, Inc. is a nonprofit organization providing housing and social services to the farmworker population in Palm Beach County. In Rem Solutions has served the organization for 15 years with grant–writing work in support of its projects–including housing reconstruction projects on two sites.
A major project for reconstruction of In The Pines' northern housing site is under way and has begun with the recent receipt of a $3.3 million hurricane–related CDBG grant from Palm Beach County. In Rem Solutions was instrumental in securing this grant. Grant writing will continue for both reconstruction of the northern site and programming efforts for both locations.
In Rem Solutions, Inc. and its employees and contractors are philanthropic and community oriented in other arenas as well. To support its community, the company has donated to various nonprofit organizations where its employee and contractors volunteer their time, including the Junior League of Boca Raton, the Junior League of Boca Raton Endowment Fund, Inc., the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties, arts organizations, TriCounty Humane Society and others. It has completed volunteer grant training seminars for nonprofit organizations such as the Junior League of Boca Raton, Junior League of the Palm Beaches, the Town of Miami Lakes and others.
